By creating an account or using Dockero, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Dockero is a documentation hosting platform that allows you to upload, organize, and publish Markdown documentation as a hosted website. We offer both free and paid plans with varying feature limits.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the service
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dockero to:

  • Host content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
  • Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Overload or interfere with the platform's infrastructure
  • Use the service for anything other than documentation hosting

5. Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload. By using Dockero, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and serve your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We will never sell or repurpose your content.

6. Paid Plans & Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months of service
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice

7. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

Dockero is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
